Description
This is Harold ....opening his case is like time travelling to pre war 1938 where Gibson was struggling to survive and the Kalamazoo(MI) product line was created. The name was used from 1932 to1942 and these helped save Gibson's bacon during the depression. Built in the same factory as real Gibson's these were no frill items designed to appeal to the less affluent folks that couldn't afford a real Gibson. The guitar was named for the original owner(it had been un-played and in the case under a bed for years) and for my father who was also named Harold. It has a ton of charm and sounds like a honky tonk rock and roller.
